What Is NCpack?
Dual-Component Pouch Technology Explained
NCpack is a proprietary packaging technology that keeps two reactive components separated by an internal barrier inside a single pouch — and mixes them on demand with manual pressure. No equipment, no scales, no mixing tools required.
15 Years of Machinery, 2 Years of Packaging — The NCpack Story
NCpack didn’t appear overnight. The question was simple at the start: why is applying a two-component resin system so difficult in the field? Two separate containers, a scale, a mixer, ratio calculations — all of this sometimes inside an enclosure, sometimes in the middle of a street, sometimes in the rain.
Approximately 15 years of specialised machinery development experience, followed by approximately 2 years of packaging design and internal barrier engineering, produced the NCpack technology. The objective was clear: keep components A and B in the same pouch — but separated until the moment of use.
Today, NCpack is used in both electrical insulation resin and protective packaging foam applications — a proprietary technology developed in Turkey by KETENCİ.
NCpack in 3 Steps
The entire application process requires no equipment, no measurement and no preparation.
Apply Pressure to the Internal Barrier
Manual pressure is applied to the activation zone of the pouch. The internal barrier opens — components A and B begin to merge inside the sealed pouch. No cutting or external opening is required at this stage.
Mix Inside the Pouch
The pouch is kneaded by applying pressure from side to side. The entire mixing process occurs in a sealed environment — eliminating moisture contact, CO₂ formation and contamination risk. Continue until colour homogeneity is achieved.
Apply Directly
Once mixing is complete, the tip of the pouch is cut and the content is applied directly. No extra containers, transfer steps or equipment are required. Application must be completed within pot life.
What Sets NCpack Apart from Conventional Systems?
Conventional two-component systems require separate containers, a scale, a mixer and ratio calculations. NCpack eliminates all of these steps by design.
NCpack Is Used in Two Distinct Fields
The same technology platform is applied across two separate product categories using different reactive systems.
Electrical Insulation Resins
Protolin resin sets in NCpack format are available for cable joint sealing, junction box filling, potting and encapsulation applications. Systems tested under IP67 and IP68 conditions are available. Hard resin, elastic NCflex and transparent NCgel options can be supplied in NCpack packaging.
NCpack Protective Foam
When the pouch is activated, the two components inside initiate a chemical reaction and the pouch expands into a closed-cell polyurethane foam. Used for fragile product protection, e-commerce packaging and logistics applications — no machine required. More information: ambalajkopugu.com
